Buying furniture in Portugal as a non-resident is far more complex than it sounds. Language barriers, different sizing standards, unreliable delivery slots when you're back in the UK, VAT complications, and the sheer logistics of coordinating multiple suppliers — it's a full-time job.
Furniture Portugal was established in 2010 specifically to solve this problem. We're a British-managed company operating from Loulé in the Algarve, with a network of trusted local suppliers, Portuguese-speaking project managers, and deep knowledge of the local market.
We handle everything: initial design consultation, sourcing from leading Portuguese brands like Laskasas, Temahome and Munna, plus quality IKEA pieces from the Loulé store, delivery, installation and even artwork and accessories. You simply turn the key and your home is ready.

Kitchen & Bathroom Packages
Many of our clients purchase new-build properties with bare kitchens and bathrooms — just white walls and plumbing connections. We offer standalone kitchen and bathroom fitting packages that work alongside or independently of our furniture packages.
For kitchens, we partner with Leroy Merlin Portugal for cabinetry and worktops, with local Algarve fitters providing professional installation. For a complete T2 kitchen, expect to budget €4,000–€8,000 including all appliances.
Bathrooms can be transformed with authentic Portuguese azulejo tiles — we work with heritage tile suppliers in Lisbon and Sintra to source traditional hand-painted designs that reflect genuine Portuguese craftsmanship.
